Bylaws for Applying for Membership at WR Council

  1. Eligibility Criteria:
    • Individuals applying for membership at WR Council must have a demonstrated track record of significant contributions to their respective fields.

    • Applicants must adhere to the ethical standards and values upheld by WR Council.
  2. Application Process:
    • Prospective members are required to submit a formal application providing details of their qualifications, achievements, and contributions relevant to their field.
    • Applications may be submitted online or through designated channels specified by WR Council.
    • The application should be accompanied by any supporting documents or references as deemed necessary by the council.
  3. Review and Evaluation:
    • The Membership Committee of WR Council will review all submitted applications.
    • The committee will assess each applicant’s qualifications, achievements, and contributions to determine eligibility for membership.
    • Applications will be evaluated based on merit, demonstrated expertise, and alignment with the mission and goals of WR Council.
  4. Approval Process:
    • Upon completion of the review process, the Membership Committee will make recommendations for membership to the council’s governing body.
    • Final approval of membership applications will be granted by the council’s governing body based on the committee’s recommendations.
    • Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their membership application in a timely manner.
  5. Membership Categories:
    • WR Council may offer different membership categories based on levels of experience, qualifications, and contributions.
    • Membership categories may include, but are not limited to, regular membership, associate membership, and honorary membership.
  6. Membership Dues and Obligations:

    • Proposed amendments to the bylaws must be submitted in writing and approved by a majority vote of the council’s governing body.
